SCFA announces Week 3 Players of the Week

The Southern California Football Association is proud to announce its third Players of the Week for the 2022 season.

Offensive: Brandon Smith, Santa Barbara (RB, 5-11, 215, So., Chicago, IL/Proviso West HS)
Smith led SBCC's run attack in a 37-20 win at West LA with 152 yards on 17 carries (8.9 Y/A) and two touchdowns ... Got SBCC out to a 14-0 lead with TDs of 53 yards and 11 yds in the 1st quarter

Defensive: Peako Tautai, Cerritos (OLB, 6-3, 225, Fr., Lakewood, CA/Lakewood HS)
Tautai led the Cerritos defense with 11 tackles (four solo), along with 2 1/2 tackles for loss and a half sack in their 22-17 win over Allan Hancock.

Special Teams/All-Purpose: Secil Ackah, Pasadena City (DB, 5-9, 165, Fr., Lake Elsinore, CA/Elsinore HS)
Ackah blocked a punt and returned it 23 yards for a touchdown. He added a pair of tackles and a pass breakup in the Lancers victory over Santa Ana.
